Joy Forehand is the Deputy Cabinet Secretary of the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions and leads data analysis, research, policy analysis, and communications and marketing initiatives for the department. Joy received her undergraduate degree in government from New Mexico State University and a Master of Public Administration in health and human services policy analysis from the University of Arizona. She began her career in state government with the New Mexico Human Services Department in 2006 and has since been an economist and outreach coordinator for Workforce Solutions. Before moving back to New Mexico, Joy was a research assistant for a program evaluation research organization in Tucson, Arizona.
