Kevin Filbey, Senior Manager with the Fairfax County Department of Family Services (DFS) has an extensive background and experience in developing and managing state and local agency organizational and professional development programs. Currently he is responsible for administering agency-wide logistics, community action programs, legislative coordination and agency-wide strategic initiatives. He enjoys the excitement that comes with the formation and development of transformation initiatives including several nationally recognized for their achievements by the National Association of Counties, including the Employees Equipped for Effectiveness Program, the Customer Resolution Center and the Employee Lifecycle Retention Program. Recently he has taken on the challenge of developing the DFS Performance Data Analytics Unit and Data Analytics Fellowship Academy. Kevin received his Masters of Social Work degree from Indiana University. He is a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, Incorporated and the Virginia Department of Social Services Leadership Academy.
