Victoria Buckland is currently the Chief Operating Officer for the Montgomery County, Maryland Department of Health and Human Services. The product of a diverse background, Victoria started her career as an electronics design engineer at NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center then moved on to being the co-owner of a grant writing consulting company working with government and nonprofit entities in western Nebraska. She obtained a Master of Public Management from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and has worked for Montgomery County, Maryland ever since, first in County-wide performance management and then in fiscal and administrative operations in the Department of Health and Human Services.
