Deputy Director Lori Wolff is responsible for Eligibility, Child Support, Child Welfare, Community Programs, Foster Care, Developmental Disabilities Programs and statewide Regional Directors within the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW). She previously worked as the Administrator of IDHW's Self Reliance Programs, which included SNAP, Medicaid Eligibility, TANF, Child Care Assistance, Community Programs, and Child Support Services. In her 14 years at IDHW she has led nationally recognized innovation and implementation of customer centric service delivery. This has included the creation and continued evolution of Idaho's integrated eligibility system and most recently the successful implementation of Idaho's Insurance Marketplace. These successes have built new standards for large business-driven technology projects supporting health and human services. Under Lori's leadership, Idaho created the Live Better Idaho (LBI) service paradigm and its accompanying statewide services access portal, LiveBetterIdaho.org, a platform that offers an easy-to-use way to connect people to services in the state of Idaho. LBI strives to be a virtual one-stop-shop in every service delivery location in the State, focusing on services to help Idahoans Live Better. Lori champions responsible government, hearing the customers' voice, solving problems, and building Program Integration at the state and national level.
